Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Yes, Shadowrocket is a paid app ($2.99). It is widely regarded as one of the most stable and feature-rich proxy clients for iOS. It's a one-time purchase. If you prefer a free alternative, we recommend Hiddify.
Ensure no extra spaces were added to the URL. If the error persists, try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data before tapping the Update icon again.
You must tap Allow on the "Shadowrocket Would Like to Add VPN Configurations" system prompt and provide authentication to fully enable the VPN.
Your node list might be outdated. Perform a Pull to Refresh on the main screen to fetch the latest server information from NodeNow, then try reconnecting.
We strongly recommend the Config option. It ensures local apps remain fast by not using the VPN, while international or blocked apps are automatically routed through it. Using Proxy will route all traffic and may be slower.
