Account Deletion

NodeNow provides a way for all users — including users who have uninstalled the app — to request deletion of their account and related personal data. You can submit a deletion request at any time, even after deleting the app from your device.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your NodeNow account and associated data, please send an email to [email protected] from the email address you used to register your NodeNow account.

Please include in the email body:

  • Your registered email address
  • A clear statement that you wish to delete your NodeNow account
  • Optional: reason for deletion

Once we receive your request, we may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing the deletion, to protect against unauthorized deletion attempts.

2. Information Required for Deletion Request

We require that deletion requests originate from the email address associated with your account. This helps us verify your identity and prevent unauthorized requests. If you no longer have access to your registered email address, please contact us at [email protected] and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis.

3. What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon successful account deletion, the following data will be deleted or permanently anonymized:

  • Account profile information (name, email address, user ID)
  • Login credentials and authentication records
  • Subscription status associated with the account
  • App settings and preferences stored on our servers
  • VPN session metadata linked to your account
  • Support request history, where deletion is legally permitted
  • Device registration records linked to your account

4. What Data May Be Retained

Some data may be retained after account deletion where required or permitted by applicable law. This includes data retained for the following purposes:

  • Legal and regulatory compliance: Records required by tax law, accounting regulations, or applicable legal obligations
  • Fraud and abuse prevention: Security logs and records necessary to prevent, detect, or investigate abuse or unauthorized access
  • Dispute resolution: Transaction records or correspondence needed to resolve outstanding disputes or billing issues
  • Financial records: Transaction and payment records as required by accounting or tax regulations

Retained data is kept only for the minimum period required by law or for legitimate operational purposes, and is not used for any other purpose.

5. Processing Time

We will process legitimate account deletion requests within 30 days of receiving and verifying the request. In some cases, a longer period may be required due to legal obligations, security reviews, or dispute resolution processes. We will notify you if a longer processing period applies.


Subscription Notice: Deleting your NodeNow account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions managed by Google Play, Apple App Store, or other billing providers. You may need to cancel your subscription separately through the relevant app store or billing platform.

6. Subscription and Billing Notice

If you purchased a NodeNow subscription through Google Play, Apple App Store, or another third-party billing platform, that subscription is managed by the respective platform — not directly by NodeNow. Deleting your NodeNow account will deactivate your access to the VPN service, but it will not automatically cancel the subscription billing.

To avoid future charges, please cancel your subscription through the relevant platform before or after submitting your account deletion request:

  • Google Play: Open Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → NodeNow → Cancel
  • Apple App Store: Open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → NodeNow → Cancel

Refunds for already-processed payments are subject to the refund policy of the respective platform and are not guaranteed.

7. Effect of Account Deletion

Once your NodeNow account is deleted:

  • You will no longer be able to log in to your NodeNow account
  • Your VPN access and active session will be terminated
  • Subscription status and node access linked to the account will be deactivated
  • Support history and account settings will be deleted or anonymized
  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use NodeNow in the future
